Founded in the field,
not the boardroom
Owen Environmental was founded in 2021 by directors Tom and Gareth, both of whom bring a background in agriculture and a hands-on understanding of the landscapes they work in. The business grew from their early work in peatland restoration — work they carried out themselves — and that ground-level experience remains central to how we operate today.
The majority of our team come from agricultural and forestry backgrounds, bringing practical working knowledge of rural landscapes.
Certified plant operators, experienced site supervisors and skilled ground workers — selected for competence in the field as much as qualifications on paper.
The directors are involved in every project we take on. It's how we operate.
